Working as a Procurement Manager for Tata Steel Europe for 2 years. Achievements: Delivered a complete contract lifecycle process from analyzing the market to negotiations and contract implementation. Managed all areas of supplier performance tracking KPIs; supplier visits; responsible supply chain; and ensuring compliance with our long-term business strategy. Steered the business to achieve its benefits targets by creating detailed project plans with internal and external stakeholders. Achieved £80k cash benefit, £120k mitigation, and £30k EBITDA benefits within only 6 months in the position. Created and drove the implementation of the Procurement Annual Plan, working closely with the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) and senior executives of Tata Steel Europe. Increased SAP Ariba compliance by executing tenders and contract management through the platform (RFP’s, quotations analysis, price negotiations, and requisitions compliance). Presented an innovative well-being plan to senior executives in the business. The project was greenlit for FY20 with several different events, such as daily lunch walks, “flexy hours” policy, monthly sport events, a different approach on 1-2-1s, celebrating success campaigns, and healthy diet support. Selected to join the Tata Steel Transformation Program as a Procurement Specialist to work together with Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) to identify, optimize, unlock, and accelerate procurement potential and re-organize company’s organization structure.
